By making your gift monthly, you’ll provide the support we need to truly transform lives and send HOPE around the world — and your first gift will be matched.
More than 28,000 Palestinians have been killed in months of unrelenting violence. Over a million people are hungry, grieving, and living without clean water or electricity. Famine is becoming increasingly likely as violence escalates in places like Rafah. Please make a gift today to help provide medicines, supplies, and other lifesaving support like mental health care to children and families in Gaza and around the world.
Project HOPE is helping children and families by:
• Providing medical care at a clinic staffed by teams of Palestinian health workers.
• Establishing a supply chain with medicines, trauma and surgical kits, and other medical supplies ready to enter Gaza. With our partners, we’ve distributed hygiene kits, blankets, and mattresses to families who’ve fled their homes.
• Working with local partners to provide mental health and psychosocial support to displaced families in Gaza, the West Bank and across the world.
Motaz al Aaaraj, our Program Officer in Rafah, recently reported:
“After a period of relative calm, relentless violence and the killing of innocent civilians has continued again. Our lives are threatened. The sounds of planes do not leave the air, there are daily bombings of multiple targets and civilians are killed every day. Everyone ran to Rafah because it was deemed safe and now it is a target. Rafah is a small city overflowing with people and we do not have access to sewage, health services, or food. Once again, terror has spread in the hearts of all the displaced. We have nowhere to go.”
