The Lee-Olive Harrison Fund for Basic Nursing Skills Education

Lee-Olive Harrison was an operating room nurse who served with Project HOPE on Voyages II and III (Peru and Ecuador). She later continued with Project HOPE in various volunteer capacities. The funds were provided by Lee-Olive Harrison through a bequest and are used specifically for basic nursing skills education.

“The more fortunate among us have the obligation not to take care of the world, but rather, because of our blessings, to help the world take care of itself. The essence of Project HOPE is teaching; the basis is partnership.”

—William B. Walsh, M.D.
